1 Abstract

CipherShooters is a Play and Earn game that leverages the key components of blockchain technologies to grant players actual digital ownership, interoperability of tokens across the metaverse, and trustless agreements. The game lands at the intersection between three emerging markets: cryptos, NFTs (non-fungible tokens), and gaming. CipherShooters' economy uses a dual token system and a state-of-the-art economic model that doesn't require new users to pay existing users, allowing for a genuinely sustainable economy. Players will recruit rebel operators, forming a squad ready to battle against the Evil Corporate overlords that exploit CipherCity. Over time, players earn tokens and weapons that allow them to strengthen their Squads and take the city back from its oppressors.

2 Blockchain Mechanics

2.1 NFT Ownership

Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are the driving force of Blockchain gaming. These tokens are unique, rare, and indivisible. The networks that support these tokens allow for true digital ownership, provable scarcity, interoperability, and immutability of a player's digital assets. As a result, for the first time in history, players can via an immutable record show proof of ownership over the assets and experiences that they build while gaming.
